I believe, like Esther, (Esther 4:13, 14) women, have unique God given abilities and talents for upbuilding the Body of Christ and for encouraging one another to step into the calling God has on our lives. Like Esther, each of one us have been called to the Body, to the ministry - to the Kingdom - for a specific time, place and plan.
After many years of the successful leadership of this ministry, I am deeply honored and humbled to be commissioned to take the baton and run my leg of the race as President of this magnificent organization. I serve committed, with the spirit of excellence to the mission and women of the ministry and to the vision and leadership of this great Body of believers. With your continued prayer and support and through the anointing of the Holy Ghost, together, we as sisters will press forward toward the mark for the high calling in Christ Jesus.

recording artist She possesses a combination of virtues that have catapulted her into inconceivable venues.
Peggy is the second oldest of five children, Vickie, George, Steven, and Lois. Her mother was the gospel artist who inspired Peggy to live the life she sang about. Peggy is the proud mother of International Gospel Artist Amante Lacey. She is the proud grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren, Sidney Lynn and Michael Rene Lacey Jr.
Surrounded by Gospel Music her entire life she has devoted years of service in music ministry on both local and national levels. Her first project was entitled “I’m Gonna Make It”. She debuted with Tyscot for her second project entitled Peggy Lacey & Friends “LIVE”. On the “LIVE” recording she was accompanied by Professor Garey Lewis. He added the musical arrangement and songwriting touch to nearly all the material, "Let God Arise" and "With One Mighty Voice" reveal this best.
Peggy reveals the testimony of God’s love in her songs. Her desire is to cause God’s people to worship and praise Him, to live a life that brings honor to Him, and to be pleasing in His sight. She continues to effectively minister to culturally diverse audiences of all ages. Her intensity in worship and skill in song commands the praises of the Most High God to be released in the atmosphere.
Peggy has been blessed to minister alongside with Hezekiah Walker, Edwin Hawkins, Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee, Thomas Whitfield, The Clark Sisters, The Williams Brothers, Detrick Haddon, Marvin Sapp, and The Mississippi Mass Choir. She has won numerous awards for “best solo artist”, and has appeared on BET “Bobby Jones Gospel Show” and ministered at Bishop T.D. Jakes “Back to the Bible” Conference.
Peggy Lacey resides in Columbus, Ohio where she attends the Higher Ground Always Abounding Assembly, under the Pastorate of Bishop Sherman S. Watkins. In her local assembly she leads praise and worship. She is the host of (SWAU) “Singing with an Understanding”, her annual conference where she has featured Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop J. Douglas Wiley, Kevin Bond, and Keith Dobbins.
