As Christians due to the fact that our lives are filled with so many twist and turns and highs and lows, it is easy to become weary, feel like giving up, and throwing in the towel.
However, God tells us in Galatians 6:9, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
I believe that faith in God should play a major role in our day to day efforts. Romans 1:17b says, as it is written, the just shall live by faith. In order to live the way God intends for us to live we have to make a faith decision to believe that whatever God has said, God is more than able to do and He will do.
Living by faith in God will keep us from getting caught up in the fast paces of life which causes us to stop living and only drift into a mode where we are only existing. It is during these times that Satan seizes every opportunity he can to deceive us and to frustrate the plan of God for our lives, which also opens the door that leads us into stress and our struggle to consider whether or not we should give up.
Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: but I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
It has never been nor will it ever be God’s intention for us to live our day to day lives in a way that monopolize us to the degree that we cannot have an abundant life.
Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice with His own life so that we will be able to live a stress free life. Notice I did not say problem free, I said stress free. What I mean is, whatever we are dealing with can only bring stress into our lives if we fail to give it to Jesus. I Peter 5:7 says, Casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you.
My encouragement to you is this, before you decide to give up, try Jesus. Before you decide that your life is not worth living try Jesus. Before you decide to give up on your family, your friends, your hard work, your dreams, or your goals, just take a few minutes and try Jesus.
If you give whatever is bothering you to Jesus and apply your faith to it, you will not get weary, you will not faint, and you will not give up.
Your due season is closer than you think it is and I am a witness that He can and He will work it out for you.
My Prayer is, “God bless the person(s) that is reading this blog. Give them a revelation of your love, show them your peace, let them experience your presence and saturate them with your power in Jesus name Amen! Now go ahead a put a praise on it so that the devil will know, that you have the victory.
